Lokhandwala is a place to be if you want to simply have an amazing time without stressing your pocket. A must go place for Bargain Hunters.

Me and my colleague left office a little early so we could kick-start the weekend in a great way.
We took metro to avoid the traffic and to reach fast. As we reached my eyes could not stop at one place. From accessories, to export surplus stores to salons to finger licking food, this place had everything.  Since I had so much to choose from I thought let me just plan it one by one 
  1. 1st Shop for tops, blouses and t-shirts. 
  2. Then match accessories to them
  3. Eat a little so I get some energy to shop again
  4. Visit a Salon for a hair spa to relax and rejuvenate 
  5. End the day with something sweet

1st Shop for tops, blouses and t-shirts. 
Bargin bargin as much as you can and bag the deal.  The local stores have amazing tops,  tunics, pajama, shorts and much more starting from INR 350 to INR 750
We brought 2 tops and 1 tunic and the total was INR 950

Then match accessories to them
Right from cute accessories to bold ones you get it all right here. Hair bands, clips, necklaces, earnings and more starting from INR 20 to INR 300.



Eat a little so I get some energy to shop again
Don't forget to try out a "Dabeli with masala peanuts and sev" and peri peri swirl at Breadkraft.




Visit a Salon for a hair spa to relax and rejuvenate
After an amazing short meal we moved to Harsha and Rakesh professional where I had a relaxing hair Spa. The spa consisted of a hair wash with deep massage, application of L'Oreal products for the spa with a steam followed by a hair wash and blow-dry. The staff along with their services were very good ! Dont miss out their hair spa and head massage !!




The five hour gossip, shopping and fun had to end with a something sweet and so went to Naturals Ice-cream. I am a coffee person and guess what was in-store for me ! Filter coffee ice-cream. Worth a try if you wish to have a cup of coffee in a cone !!

If you have lived in Mumbai, survived through its rains, it's traffic and its jam packed trains/buses you can simply do anything in this world. Believe me anything in the world !! The next time you take an interview surely ask this question & put the candidate in a situation to answer "What will you do if you are stuck in traffic for 3 hrs to cover a distance of 4 kms ?” Based on his/er answer you will get to know his/er patience level, ability to work in a team, time management and zest to start again after a break down.
